Ben Pearson, in memoriam.
“Sending this news with the heaviest of hearts of this morning. We lost a member of The Drive family this weekend with the passing of longtime Bottle Barn Wine Buyer and California Wine Country co-host, Ben Pearson. Ben was a Sonoma County wine institution, few show the passion, knowledge, and love for his craft that Ben showed for wine. Ben joined us about a year into the life of Wine Wednesday and never looked back, educating Drive listeners about wine each week and always having an answer to “Ben, tell me why I like this wine”. We are forever grateful for Ben’s contribution to the show and his legacy will live on into the future of Wine Wednesday. Ben passed away over the weekend while with his family.
